Printing company taken to the next level with new look, new machinery and expansion

Yorkshire based printing company, Platinum Print, have undergone some changes in the last few months, including a significant investment in their printing portfolio, expansion to increase their stock and distribution facilities and a full company re-brand.

From their base in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, Platinum have been busy extending their warehouse facilities to accommodate their new six-figure investment. Their HP Indigo 12000 with 7 colours and 15000 Value Pack is the jewel in the crown of digital printing, offering Platinum’s customers serious scope for personalisation, seven colour printing, including printing white ink and invisible ink, speciality products and more.

With all the changes taking place, Platinum also felt it was the right time to give their brand a refresh. A new website, logo and slight name change has blown a breath of fresh air into their brand.

Samantha Moulson, Platinum’s Sales and Marketing Director explained why it was time for a change.

“Having acquired Harrogate Printing in 2016, Platinum Print and Harrogate Printing combined their name to become PlatinumHPL. This was a lovely way to bring the two companies together and cement our merger, but as time has passed, we felt it would be nice to give our brand a full refresh and following much discussion decided to revert back to Platinum.

With significant investment in our technology and machinery over the past five years, including our new HP Indigo, we really wanted to give our brand an uplift, starting with our website.

Our customers are really engaging with the new branding and seem to love the new look and feel to Platinum. Our recent investment in our HP Indigo is an exciting addition to our portfolio, enabling us to offer our customers personalised packaging, security inks, spot colours and so much more. We are also delighted that we have been able to expand our warehouse facilities to accommodate our new printer and, in turn, offer our customers more options for the stock and distribution of their items while maintaining our fantastic location in Harrogate.

As we continue to invest in our future, we are looking forward to the next steps in our development plans.”
